Wormshöft sits like a peninsula between the Schlei and the Baltic, 2 km before the fishing village of Maasholm. Baltic beaches (no tourist tax) can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. Maasholm has preserved its historic fishing village charm and offers a maritime atmosphere. Here, you can take care of daily needs and choose between cafés and restaurants. In Kappeln (7 km), stroll along the harbor and pedestrian zone, with boutiques and supermarkets. Explore the entire Schlei region from Wormshöft, with famous villages like Arnis, Ulnis, Lindaunis, and nearby towns such as Schleswig, Flensburg, or Eckernförde. Enjoy a stay under thatch in a typical Angeln farmhouse with a spacious kitchen-living area and fireplace. The large property and the house’s details blend perfectly with the Angeln landscape. The expansive garden invites you to relax with garden furniture and a barbecue. During the winter of 2017/2018, the roof was converted; both bedrooms are separately located under the roof. On the ground floor, the layout creates a large living area with a fireplace. The old small living room downstairs serves as an additional guest room with a reading corner. The property has no direct neighbors and is set alone. Old trees, typical hedgerows, and small embankments border the grounds. Only the roadside is fenced; elsewhere, a small embankment planted with roses marks the boundary to the adjacent farmland. The distance to the water (Baltic Sea/Geltinger Bucht) is just under 7 km as the crow flies. The property is located on the L21, the winding "Alte Kappelner Landstraße" through Angeln, with moderate traffic. Firewood is available for use for an additional charge.
